The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has extensively covered 140 technologies in its newly launched e-book 'Making Wealth from Agricultural Waste'. The mentioned technologies have investigated various fields of creating money using different waste material created during agricultural exercises. The waste is produced during the stages of crop harvesting and processing. Other stages include product amalgamation and so forth.
A few of these mentioned technologies are already in practice and commercialized. Apart from that many of the same are at different phases of commercialization.
By documenting all of these technological advancements in a type of a compendium will draw in various partners and stakeholders. This can mark as a way for making undertakings around them to make work openings in the rural regions which will thus contribute towards a solid and Atmanirbhar Bharat.
