PM Kisan Maan Dhan Yojana Online Registration Process & Other Details

In order to provide social as well as financial security to farmers, the Central Government has launched Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana (PM-KMY).

Under PM-KMY, a minimum fixed pension of Rs. 3000 per month or Rs. 36000 per year is given to eligible farmers, depending on certain exclusion clauses, on completing 60 years. It is a voluntary as well as contributory pension scheme, with an entry age of 18 to 40 years.

So far 21, 42, 853 farmers are taking benefit of this government pension scheme, according to data available on the official website.

Benefits of PM Kisan Maan Dhan Yojana

A farmer beneficiary can choose to become a member of PM-KMY by subscribing to a Pension Fund, which is managed by LIC (Life Insurance Corporation of India). He will have to make a monthly contribution of Rs. 55 to 200 to the Pension Fund depending upon the age of entry into the scheme and with the provision of equal contribution by the Centre.

Besides PM-KMY, PM Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana also provides an annual pension of Rs. 36000. 

Moreover, withdrawal from the scheme can be willingly or on failure of contribution or on death.

If someone wants to leave the policy in between then they will get the deposit along with interest. If the farmer dies then his spouse will get Rs 1500 / month.

PM Kisan Maan Dhan Yojana Online Registration Method

  • PM Kisan Maan Dhan Yojana registration can be done through self-registration online or via Common Service Centres in different states. The enrollment is free of cost.

  • For self-enrollment via online registration, click this link - https://maandhan.in/auth/login

  • For enrollment via Common Service Centre farmers will have to visit the nearest CSC along with their Aadhaar card & bank passbook/account details. The Common Service Centres will charge Rs.30/- per enrolment that will be borne by Government.

  • The Village Level Entrepreneur or VLE at the CSC will complete the on-line registration procedure after taking details like name, date of birth, spouse/nominee, Aadhaar number, mobile number etc.
