E-commerce is emerging as a powerful tool for women's empowerment in developing countries and is true for India. For women entrepreneurs, especially those with small e-commerce businesses, ease of access to e-commerce services serves as a boon, especially for those from marginalized communities and the hinterland of India.
Therefore, equitable access to e-commerce for women entrepreneurs needs to be taken into account by support services in areas such as training, gender analysis, planning, design, implementation, monitoring, and assessment, by paying particular attention to the effect on women's lives and conditions.
To contribute to the same, the "FICCI Young Leaders Forum" is organizing this event to discuss & debate the role of E-commerce & its allied sector in empowering women with multiple high-powered sessions and case studies.
