With trends like Dalgona coffee taking over the internet, our culinary instincts are making us experiment with food, no matter the thousands of failed attempts! No worries of failure here as preparing this refreshing drink is going to be as easy as pie. So, here is all you need to know about Iced Green Tea and how you can make a perfect cup of it!

Why Iced Green Tea is a Perfect Refreshment?

It’s an undeniable fact that Green Tea possesses some of the most amazing health benefits. From reducing high blood pressure to helping in shedding pounds of weight, green tea is a wholesome beverage. But as the summer is nearly there, drinking a hot cup of green tea might make you drip off a lot of sweat from the body. So, to beat the heat healthily, giving it a refreshing spin into a chilled beverage is not a bad idea. Just a few bags of green tea and some other basic ingredients are required to spin it off, so iced green tea is a quarantine-friendly drink too! Here are the ingredients to make a jar of chilled green tea with the simple recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1 liter of water (you can negotiate the amount of water as per the serving)

  • 4-5 Green Teabags

  • 1 lemon

  • Ice cubes (as you like it)

  • Sugar

Method:

  1. Pour some water in a pan and let it boil.

  2. After it gets a boil, remove from heat and add the green tea bags to it and let the tea brew for a few minutes.

  3. Pour the tea mixture into a glass and put some sugar and ice cubes to let it cool.

  4. Cut the lemon and squeeze a whole lemon juice into the glass.

  5. You can add some more ice cubes to add the chill.

  6. Garnish it with mint leaves.
