Star anise contains a chemical compound called Shikimik Acid that is used to produce Tamiflu, a globally patented drug that helps fight outbreaks of swine flu and other epidemics worldwide.

Drinking a cup of soothing star-anise infused tea regularly will be a healthy choice. Try this easy recipe. Take: 

  • 2 cups water

  • 3 tea bags (unflavored tea)

  • 4 star anise

  • 3 inch cinnamon stick

  • 3 tablespoons honey

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

In a medium saucepan bring water to boiling. Add tea bags, anise, and cinnamon stick. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 3 to 5 minutes. Discard tea bags and cinnamon stick. Stir in honey and lemon juice.  

Your Immunity Boosting drink is ready in minutes. Enjoy and stay healthy!
