Hemp seed are the seeds that come from Cannabis Sativa, but the seeds do not produce any hallucinatory effect.  These small seeds are brown in color and are full of healthy fatty acids, fiber, protein and omega-3s & omega-6s.  

As hemp seeds contain a good source of nutritional fatty acids, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) says: 

About 3 tablespoon of hemp seeds contain 116 calories, 9.47 g of Protein, 2.60 g of Carbohydrates, 14.62 g of Total fatty acids, 1.38 g of Saturated fatty acids, 11.43 g of Polyunsaturated fat and 1.62 g of Monounsaturated fatty acids. 

The hemp seeds help in reducing various ailments, improve the health of heart, and reduce the risk of heart diseases. 

Hemp seeds contain amino acid arginine, which produces the nitric oxide in your body and nitric oxide gas molecule helps in making the blood vessels dilate & relax and it leads to the lowering of blood pressure hence, reduces the risk of heart disease.  

Not only nitric acid, the gamma-linolenic acid which presents in the hemp seeds is also helps in reducing inflammation, which helps in reducing the risk of diseases related to heart. 
In addition, it is said that the hemp seed oil also helps in recovering heart from a heart attack, and helps in decreasing the risk of blood clot formation.
