1. Fenugreek seeds (Methi)

These Fenugreek or Methi seeds are very beneficial to control high blood pressure. They contain large amounts of vitamins A, B, C, iron, phosphorus, calcium and potassium. Thus, consume these seeds on daily basis and your blood pressure (BP) under control.

2. Banana

Banana is very rich in potassium. It is to be noted that potassium-rich items are considered very beneficial for controlling high blood pressure. Banana can also reduce the amount of sodium in the body. BP patients can eat 2 to 3 bananas in a day.

3. Garlic

Garlic is a great food to control high blood pressure. Consuming one bud garlic daily can do wonders. It can also be excellent for cholesterol.

4. Honey

Though, honey is commonly used in the treatment of cold cough. But, it also helps in controlling blood pressure. Consume one spoon of honey mixed with milk every day.

5. Onion

We consume onion daily whether in vegetable dal or other things of food. But in summer you can also use onion as a salad. It helps in controlling your high blood pressure. Onion is full of anti-oxidants which control the blood pressure.
