Dhanuka Trust Rejuvenates Lifeless Pond near Vrindavan Under Its Water Conservation Initiatives

Dhanuka trust has revived a lifeless pond in village Barauli Chouth near Vrindavan as part of its water conservation initiatives. The trust has converted the pond and its adjoining area into a scenic recreational place for visitors to enjoy. Dhanuka further plans to plant more trees in the area, which is known for its cultural and spiritual heritage. The pond called ‘Shyam Dhak Teerth’will be inaugurated on 8th September.

Dhanuka Agritech, through various partners has been involved in water conservation activities from more than a decade now. It is spreading awareness about water conservation through its flagship campaign “Khet ka pani khet mein, aur gaon ka pani gaon mein”. The company has built 6 dams and planted 20000 trees in various parts of country. Every year on World Water Day, Dhanuka organizes various activities across India to promote water conservation practices in people’s daily life.

Commenting on the initiative, Mr. R.G. Agarwal – main trusty of Shri Chiranjilal Dhanuka Charitable trust and Group Chairman, Dhanuka Agritech Limited said, “Water-related issues have become very critical today and we are seeing many cities in the country running out of water during peak summer. The issue of water scarcity cannot be ignored anymore. We must educate people about water preservation.
