Qualifications and Skills
Qualifications:
Degree in Plant Pathology, Botany, Biotechnology, Engineering, or Technology from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification.
Skills:

Successful implementation of plant pathology projects.

Effective performance in diverse, multi-cultural teams.

Strong scientific and analytical skills.

Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.

Previous experience in conducting disease phenotyping research.

Demonstrated track record of publishing in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
Roles and Responsibility

Coordinate sample collection, pathotyping, and phenotyping of target pathogens and traits.

Conduct multi-location testing of breeding lines.

Assist in trait mapping and strategic planning meetings.
-
Collaborate with internal and external teams for smooth research flow.
-
Support capacity-building efforts at ISARC.
-
Monitor research progress and represent IRRI at conferences.
-
Participate in relevant events and fulfill additional tasks as needed.
Monthly Remuneration
31000 INR per month
