Educational Qualification Required
- Medical Officers: MBBS + MD / DNB or equivalent qualification.
- Technical Officer/C: B.E. / B.Tech engineering graduate in civil engineering with minimum 60% marks.
- Nurse/A: 12th standard Pass and Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery (OR) B.Sc. Nursing + Valid Registration as Nurse from Central / State Nursing Council in India.
- Scientific Assistant/B: Degree / Diploma in relevant discipline.
- Pharmacist/B: HSC (10+2) Pass + 02 years Diploma in Pharmacy + 06 months Training in Pharmacy + Registration as a Pharmacist with Central or State Pharmacy Council.
- Technician/C: SSC / HSC with minimum 60% Marks + 01-year certificate course in Sanitary Inspection + 04 years’ experience and good communication skills.
- Technician/B: Minimum 60% Marks in SSC / HSC + ITI in relevant trade.

The General Services Organization (GSO) was established in 1979 as one of the constituent units of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. Dr. B. Venkatraman, Distinguished Scientist and Director of GSO, is also Director of IGCAR.
