Duration (for both positions): Initially for an year; according on performance and the availability of funding, it may be extended until the end of the project. The chosen applicant must start working in their assigned role immediately.
IIT Recruitment 2022: Education Qualification
Minimum eligibility criterion:
Ph.D. in Environmental Science/Climate Science/Agricultural Science/Economics/Engineering other relevant discipline Or Master’s in Engineering or Technology with 55% marks or CGPA 6.
Three- four years of research experience in areas related to climate change
Desirable:
▪ Experience in climate modeling, especially climate extremes
▪ Good communication and writing skills
Age limit:
The upper age limit at the time of application should not exceed more than 40 years.

Senior Project Associate – Rs. 42,000 + HRA per month
Project Scientist II– Rs. 67,000 + HRA per month
