India Post Recruitment 2022: Application Invited for Various Post; Salary up to Rs. 69,100
India Post has issued a new notification for recruitment to the post of Postal Assistant (PA), Sorting Assistant (SA), Postal Assistant in Savings Bank Control Organization IPA (SBCO), Postman in Post Offices and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS). This recruitment is to be done in Post Office / Railway Mail Service (RMS) and Postal Stores Depot of Assam Postal Circle. Meritorious students can apply till 27 July 2022, candidates can submit their application at dopsortsrecritment.in.

- Postal and Sorting Assistant - 18 to 27 years.
- Postman - 18 to 27 years.
- MTS - 18 to 25 years.
Salary Details
- The pay range for a postal assistant or sorting assistant is between Rs. 25,500 and Rs. 8,000 in Level 4 as per the pay matrix listed in Port A of the Central Civil Services Revised Pay) Rules, 2016, plus any applicable allowances.
- Postman: Level-3 pay ranges from Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100 as per the pay matrix listed in Part-A of the Central Civil Services 1 Revised Pay) Rules, 2016 plus any applicable allowances.
- MTS: Levels range from Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 56,900 in accordance with the Part-A pay matrix of the Schedule of Central Civil Services Rules, 2016, as well as any applicable allowances.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates for postal and sorting assistant positions must have completed their 12th grade or an exam of equal standing from a recognized university, the Board of School Education, or the Board of Secondary Education. Before issuing the employment letter, the candidate will be required to present a certificate of Basic Computer Training from a recognized computer training institute.
- Postman with a 12th Pass and local language proficiency.
MTS - 10th Pass and Proficiency in the local Language
