National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI) is inviting applications for the positions of Research Associate-I. These positions are available under a project aimed at Identification of potential agri-waste residues for processing to bio coal via torrefaction, which offers an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals to contribute to innovative research.
Project Title: Identification of potential agri-waste residues for processing to biocoal via torrefaction - (NABI & CIAB Core)
Research Position: Research Associate –I (One Position)
Duration: The Research Associate-I fellowship is a temporary assignment, valid for 2 years. The extension to the second year is contingent upon satisfactory progress, institutional requirements, and financial provisions. In certain exceptional cases, depending on research progress and performance, the committee may recommend an up-gradation of RA Levels.
Essential Qualifications:

PhD in Chemistry (General / Organic / Inorganic / Physical / Other) / Electrochemistry/ Materials Engineering/ Science or a relevant discipline (Engineering/Science in Biochemistry/Chemical Engg.) from a recognized University/Institute.

Minimum of one research paper in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal focusing on solid material characterizations.
Emolument:
-
Monthly remuneration of Rs. 58,000/-, along with HRA, based on years of experience. Emoluments and eligibility conditions for Research Associates are by DST OM: DST/PCPM/Z-06/2022 dated June 26, 2023.
Age Limit:

Maximum age limit of 40 years for Research Associate-I position.
