Educational Qualification
Candidates can review the official notice for subject-specific qualifying requirements as well as the post-specific educational requirements.
Principal: A master's degree from an accredited institution with a mark of 50% Having a B.Ed
Post Graduate Teacher (PGT): Two-year Integrated Post Graduate Course in the relevant topic from an NCTE-recognized institution or Regional College of Education of NCERT with a minimum of 50% overall.
Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): Four-year integrated degree programme from a Regional College of Education of NCERT OR NCTE-recognized school with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50%. OR a Bachelor of Arts degree with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50 percent in the relevant topic or combination of subjects. The candidate must have completed at least two years of study in the required subject(s) throughout the three-year degree programme. OR a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50 percent in both the topic or combination of courses in question. The candidate has to have completed all three years of their degree programme in the required disciplines.
Candidates who have passed the CTET Paper 2 will be given more consideration while applying for TGT.
Librarian: University degree in Library Science from a recognized institution OR Graduation with One-year Diploma in Library Science from a recognized Institution. Working knowledge of English and Hindi or other Regional Language

Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in Computer Based Test (CBT) and interview / Personal Interaction put together. However, for the post of Librarian, the selection to post will be done on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the CBT only.
