For the purpose of filling 7540 Regular Teacher positions for Government Secondary Schools under the S&ME Department in Odisha, Bhubaneswar, the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has invited eligible candidates to apply for it.
Starting on December 11, interested individuals can submit an application for the positions on the official website.
The OSSC notified that the selection process would consist of a preliminary examination and a main written exam.

OSSC Recruitment 2022: Age Limit
Candidates must be under the maximum age limit of 21- 38 years (as of 01.01.2022) to apply.

- Education Qualification
The candidate must be able to read and write Odia with any of the following qualifications:
i.) Have passed the HSC Exam conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, or any equivalent examination with Odia as a Language Subject i.e. First / Second or Third Language, or
ii.) Have passed +2/ Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha with Odia as an examinable subject, or
iii.) Have passed Odia Examination of HSC (10th) standard conducted by the BSE, Odisha

OSSC Post: Selection Procedure
The selection procedure will be through written examination and certificate verification. A preliminary exam is likely in February 2023. The exact date will be intimated later.
Both the preliminary and main exams will be computer-based with multiple-choice questions. Besides, the tests will be in both English and Odia mediums.
