Research Associates and Young Professionals Posts at ICAR-NIAP

The ICAR - National Institute of Agricultural Economics and Policy Research (NIAP), located at Dev Prakash Shastri Marg, Pusa, New Delhi, is inviting eligible candidates to participate in walk-in interviews for the recruitment of Research Associates (RA) and Young Professionals-II (YP-II). These positions are on a purely contractual basis, offering exciting opportunities to work on cutting-edge agricultural research projects.

Position Overview

The following positions are open for applications:

1.Research Associate - Trees Outside Forests in India

• No. of Vacancies: 01

• Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics/Economics/Agroforestry/Forestry, OR

• Master’s degree in the same fields with 4/5 years of relevant experience.

• At least three years of research experience, demonstrated by Fellowship/Associateship and other relevant training.

• One research paper in a Science Citation Index (SCI)/NAAS rated journal.

• Pay Scale: ₹54,000/- (Ph.D. holders) + HRA; ₹49,000/- (Master’s degree holders) + HRA.

2.Research Associate - Strategic Research Component of National Innovation in Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA)

• Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics/Economics/Econometrics with a specialization in agriculture/environmental economics, OR

• Master’s degree with 4/5 years of relevant experience.

• Research experience demonstrated through Fellowship/Associateship, and one research paper in a SCI/NAAS rated journal.

3.Young Professional-II (IT) - Unified Budget

• Postgraduate Degree (M.Sc./M.Tech/MCA) in Computer Science/IT/Computer Applications or equivalent.

• Proficiency in areas such as computer center management, website development, social media updates, cyber security, full-stack development, and API integration.

4.Young Professional-II - Untangling India's Dual Malnutrition Burden

Age limit and additional Information
 

• Age Limit: Minimum Age will be 21 years and Maximum 40 years for men and 45 years for women (relaxation as per government rules)
