This program, housed within the Centre for Environment and Development, focuses on addressing critical environmental challenges related to society, water, and climate.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess:
B.Tech/B.E in Civil Engineering paired with an M.Tech/M.E in Environmental Engineering, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the water and wastewater sector.
Skills Required:

Proficiency in the design of water and wastewater treatment units.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent project management and communication abilities.

Experience in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems (RS&GIS), modeling, and statistical tools.

The ability to deliver timely, concise, and accurate data and research reports, incorporating qualitative and quantitative analysis.
Appointments and Emoluments
The initial appointment for this position will be for one year, with the possibility of renewal for a second-year depending upon satisfactory progress. Salaries offered by ATREE are competitive and comparable to other academic institutions in India. The selected candidates will be based at ATREE's office in Bangalore.
