Tehri Hydro Development Corporation India Limited (THDC) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Engineer Trainee (Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical) vacancy Through GATE 2022. The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill in a total of 52 vacancies. Interested candidates are advised to go through the below-mentioned details before applying. Engineer Trainee - Civil: 21 positions
Engineer Trainee - Electrical: 21 positions
Engineer Trainee - Mechanical: 10 positions

THDC Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for these positions, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Essential Qualification: Full-time B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc(Engg.) in the relevant discipline from a recognized university or institute with a minimum of 65% marks.
Age Limit: For SC/ST candidates, the upper age limit is 35 years, and for OBC candidates, it is 33 years.

THDC Recruitment 2023: Selection Process

The selection process consists of two stages:

Shortlisting based on GATE 2022 score: Candidates must have appeared for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 in the corresponding paper for the respective discipline. Shortlisting will be done based on the GATE 2022 scores.
Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview, which will carry a weightage of 30% in the final selection process.

The final selection will be based on the combined score of the GATE 2022 and the personal interview, with a weightage of 70% and 30%, respectively.

THDC Recruitment 2023: Remuneration

Selected candidates will undergo training as Engineer Trainees in the E-2 Grade and will receive a minimum basic pay of Rs. 50,000.00 in the pay scale of Rs. 50,000 - 3% - 1,60,000 (IDA) during the training period. Upon successful completion of training, candidates will be absorbed as Senior Engineers in the E-3 Grade with a pay scale of Rs. 60,000 - 3% - 1,80,000 (IDA).
