Graduate Trainees
Candidates must have a BE/B.Tech degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Mining Engineering from a recognised university/institute.
Diploma Trainees
Candidates must have a diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation Engineering from a recognised university or institute.
Age Limit Details
Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 24. Age restrictions apply to reserved category candidates.
Salary Details
Selected candidates will be paid a stipend of Rs. 8,000/- per month. The recruiting organisation pays Rs. 9,000/- per month for Technician Apprentices and Rs. 9,000/- per month for Graduate Apprentices.
Selection Criteria
- Candidates will be invited for a personal interview (PI) based on the percentage of marks obtained in their degree/diploma engineering at a 1:5 ratio, taking into account the respective reservation norms.
- The selected candidates will be required to sign Apprenticeship Training Contracts with WBPDCL online for a period of one year of training in accordance with the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 and the rules framed thereunder.
- The Apprenticeship Contract will automatically terminate upon completion of such apprenticeship training / stipulated period. WBPDCL is under no obligation to offer any employment in the future.

- For enrollment, a unique registration number is obtained.
- Using your user id, click the login button.
- Fill out all of the information and upload a copy of your resume to apply for apprentice positions.

- Search the website for the online application form.
