AISECT University (AU) was founded in 2016 in the Hazaribag district of Jharkhand as the district's first private university and the state's first Skills University. AISECT Jharkhand University, as part of the AISECT Group, is also a skill-based university with the goal of bridging the skill gap between the available workforce and industry requirements.
