Canada has expressed its eagerness to participate in the Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit, which is scheduled for early next year. The daytime meeting between Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and High Commissioner of Canada to India Cameron MacKay focused on ways to strengthen ties between the two nations, particularly with regard to Uttar Pradesh.
The Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit, which will take place in January-February 2023, was highlighted by MacKay as a fantastic opportunity for Canadian investors.
According to the press release, he called the state's industrial policy "encouraging" for investors and said Canada is eager to expand cooperation in logistics, infrastructure development, and education.
The Canadian diplomat expressed his ideas for collaboration in these fields and claimed that the state's basic infrastructure development, textile, agriculture, tourism, defense, and aerospace industries were full of potential.
Adityanath stated during the meeting that the summit was being planned and would be a good opportunity for Canadian business owners. "This is a significant chance to further develop economic ties between the two nations. I'm hoping Canada will cooperate," the chief minister said.

The chief minister emphasized that the state has made progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a number of areas, including agriculture, horticulture, road, air, and rail connectivity, and tourism.
