Spanning across 15 states, including Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Punjab, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Chhattisgarh, Sikkim, Nagaland, Goa, Maharashtra, and Meghalaya, the workshops have successfully showcased ODOP success stories through various media outlets. Coverage includes local and national newspapers in multiple languages such as English, Hindi, and regional languages.
Tangible Impact Through Proactive Initiatives
The tangible impact of ODOP Sampark becomes apparent through live interactions with sellers in workshops, revealing identified gaps in market linkages. In response, DPIIT has initiated proactive measures, including support for e-commerce onboarding, collaboration with states to formulate ODOP policies, enhancement of packaging strategies, and facilitating connections between sellers at the central level to boost domestic and global promotions.

These events have played a crucial role in sensitizing artisans and farmers about the Government’s ODOP initiative. Categorization of Products Under Various Sectors
States have identified one primary product from each district, with those having more than one product categorized as secondary or tertiary. These products span across various sectors, including Agriculture, Manufacturing, Handloom and Textiles, Handicraft, Food Processing, Marine, and services.
The collaborative efforts showcased in these events contribute significantly to the immediate growth and development of local industries, aligning with the overarching vision of self-reliance and indigenous industry revival set by the government.
