The State Bank of India (SBI) and Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC)  have together announced ‘IRCTC SBI Platinum Card’, the only credit card that gives the power to get free railway tickets with many other benefits.

The one- time joining fee is Rs 500 and a renewal fee per annum of Rs 300 is to be paid.


Users can apply now and get 350 bonus SBI Railway Points on joining the Railway card family. 1 SBI Railway Point = Re 1

  • Shop, dine, travel on your SBI Railway Card and earn 1 Railway Point for every Rs 125 of retail spends. Collect points for free tickets.

  • Get a complimentary personal accident insurance cover of Rs. 10 lac in the event of loss of life resulting from a train accident, while traveling on a valid ticket.

  • Just use your card to purchase fuel and other lubricants for amounts exceeding Rs. 400, at designated Indian Oil & IBP petrol pumps and save transaction fee.
