The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) is a statutory organization within the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the Government of India, formed under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.
It is the top organization in charge of guaranteeing food safety and standard compliance across the country. Interns will have unique learning opportunities in several sectors of food regulation and food safety administration through the FSSAI internship programme.

Eligibility Criteria For FSSAI Internship 2022

Candidates pursuing a full-time graduate, post-graduate degree, or higher from a recognized institute within India or abroad, in any of the following courses.
Students pursuing their 3rd or 4th year of PG Degree/ B.Tech or BE from a recognized university or institute in chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Technology, Food Science & Technology, Food & Nutrition, Edible Oil Technology, Microbiology, Dairy Technology, Agricultural, Horticultural Sciences, Industrial Microbiology, Toxicology, Public Health, Life sciences, Biotechnology, Fruit & Vegetable Technology, Food Safety & Quality Assurance are eligible.

Business Administration & Management including policy regulation and related fields – Only at FSSAI(HQ)

PG Diploma/Degree in, Journalism, Mass Communication and Public Relations.

B.E. / B. Tech (Only 3rd and 4th Year students not for 2nd or 1st Year) in Computer Science/ Information Technology Software Engineering or related Stream.

Tenure For FSSAI Internship 2022
The internship will be 3-6 months long so, only those students must apply, who will be available for the mentioned duration. No internship of a duration of less than a month will be offered.
Stipend For FSSAI Internship April 2022
The interns are required to have their own laptops; FSSAI shall provide Working space, Internet facility and other necessities. No lodging or travel facilities will be provided by FSSAI. A stipend of Rs 10000 for the internship period will be given to deserving interns on the recommendation of the office or division that they work with.
What is the Application Process for FSSAI Internship April 2022?
(a) Interested and eligible students can apply online in the specified format as per the timelines provided by FSSAI. Applicants, who have applied for internships for previous months, need to apply afresh.
(b) The shortlisted candidates may be required to submit a short write-up/presentation for final selection.
(c) The final list of selected candidates, together with their start date and internship duration, will be published on the FSSAI website by the respective office where they have chosen to intern.
(d) At the time of joining, Interns must bring a letter from their Institute confirming his or her status as a student and a "No Objection Certificate" enabling him or her to participate in the Internship Program for the term for which he or she has been selected, if applicable. At the time of joining for internship, a character certificate from the Institute's authorities, as well as verification of educational credentials as specified in the application form, would be required.
