Amid the intensifying farmer's protest, State Bank of India has recently announced 'door baking' which means that all the facilities will be provided to the customers at home on behalf of bank.

Amid the intensifying farmer's protest, State Bank of India has announced 'door banking' which means all the banking facilities will be provided to SBI customers (including farmers) at home. So, if you are a State Bank of India customer, then you can also avail these facilities by just sitting at home.

You do not need to go to the bank for all those tasks. Doorstep Banking is provided to customers by State Bank of India (SBI). In this facility, non-financial services like pick up of check, demand draft, pay order etc, account statement request, term deposit receipt are delivered at home from the bank.

What's the specialty of Doorstep Banking?

According to the information given on the official website of SBI, the customers will get cash pickup, cash delivery, check receiving, check requisition at home on behalf of the bank, life certificate pickup, pickup of KYC document, delivery of draft etc.

State Bank of India (SBI) has a minimum limit of Rs 1,000 and a maximum limit of Rs 20,000. For cash withdrawal, it is mandatory to have sufficient balance in the bank account before request. If this is not done then the transaction will be cancelled.

What is Doorstep Banking Service?

Through Doorstep Banking Service, customers can take advantage of many facilities like depositing checks, withdrawing and depositing money, taking life certificates.

This service will help elderly, disabled and visually impaired people above 70 years to get banking services at their home. Under the doorstep service, a bank employee will come to your house and take your paper and deposit it in the bank.

Apart from this, calls can be made on the toll free number 1800111103 between 9 am and 4 pm on working days.
