How to Apply and Get Benefits of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) was launched with an objective to enable youth in the country to take up industry-relevant skill training for a better livelihood. So far 1.25 crore youth have been trained under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana.

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) was launched with an objective to enable youth in the country to take up industry-relevant skill training for a better livelihood. So far 1.25 crore youth have been trained under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana.

The third phase of the scheme or PMKVY 3.0 has started from February 2021. In this phase, about 8 lakh youth of the country will be given training. And for this Government will spent Rs 948.90 crore for training the youth.

According to the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, PMKVY 3.0 has been launched in 717 districts of 28 states and 8 union territories. Under this scheme, vocational training will be given to the youth at the initial level, through which they will get many opportunities related to the industry.

How to apply for Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana

Anyone interested can apply for this scheme by visiting the website: http://pmkvyofficial.org.

If you want to get the technical education, you can get the training in about 40 technical fields such as hardware, electronics, fittings, construction & food processing. There is a facility to select your area of interest & get the training in it.

There isn’t any charge for availing the benefits of the Scheme. The course fee is paid by Central Government. After the completion of this course, you will be given a certificate which is recognized all over the country.
