The India Meteorological Department has issued a forecast for this week's heatwave conditions and rainfall. Fresh heat waves are expected to stay in Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, and west Rajasthan till March 30, according to the weather monitoring service.
On the other hand, Uttar Pradesh will be hit by heatwaves on March 30.
Moreover, on March 28 and 29 2022, heat wave conditions are extremely likely to develop over south Haryana, west Rajasthan, and west Madhya Pradesh.
"A fresh heat wave spells are expected to begin in isolated pockets across West Rajasthan on March 27, 2022, and progressively extend eastwards over the next four days," according to the IMD.

In addition, IMD experts have forecasted rainy conditions in southern India.
Isolated significant rainfall may occur across south interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala due to the influence of a trough/wind discontinuity over south peninsular India at lower tropospheric levels.
It further stated that 'mild to moderate' rainfall activity will persist for the next 24 hours over northeast India before decreasing.
On March 28 and 29, dust-raising winds (25-35 kmph) are expected to prevail over Rajasthan's northern regions.
The weather-predicting organization stated, "Light to moderate isolated/scattered rainfall quite likely over Kerala-Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry-Karaikal, and Karnataka over the next five days."
