We are glad to inform you that the Founder and Editor-in-chief of Krishi Jagran, Mr. M.C. Dominic was awarded the prestigious ‘Sardar Vallabbhai Patel’ National Krishi Jeevan Gaurav Puraskar 2019 for his immense contribution in Agriculture Journalism by H.E. Governor of Gujarat Archarya Devvrat on 7th September 2019 (Saturday) in Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat.
Mr. Dominic was honored with a shawl, statuette of Sardar Vallabbhai Patel, a shriphal and a letter of appreciation by Archarya Devvrat. Director, Krishi Jagran Mrs. Shiny Dominic and Marketing President, Mr. R.K.Teotia were also present during the award ceremony.
Sardar Vallabbhai Patel National Krishi Jeevan Gaurav Puraskar 2019 was given to five people from all across the country for their significant contribution in the field of agriculture. This was the fourth National Agricultural Journalist Awards ceremony organized by the Association of National Agricultural Journalist, popularly known as ANAJ-INDIA.
It is the continued efforts of Mr. Dominic that Krishi Jagran today is an established and well-known agricultural media house in India. Krishi Jagran magazine that is published in 12 languages (Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Telugu, Bengali, Assamese, Odia, Tamil, Malayalam and Agriculture World (English) is the largest circulated rural family magazine in the country with 12 million readership. In addition, it has nine regional portals including Hindi and English.
