Three students have scored a perfect score of 720/720. These are Hyderabad’s Mrinal Kutteri, Delhi’s Tanmay Gupta and Karthika G Nair from Mumbai.

The NEET-UG 2021 exam was conducted on September 12 and over 16 lakh students appeared in the medical entrance test. National Testing Agency will prepare the all-India merit list on the basis of cut-off and marks secured by the candidate and release the same soon.

Mrinal Kutteri wanted to become a chemical engineer initially but after class 9 he decided to become a doctor as he thought the medical field will give him a better opportunity to serve the society. And today, his dream has come true as he secured AIR 1 in NEET 2021 examination.

Mrinal Kutteri scored a perfect 720 marks in NEET UG 2021. His father is an HR consultant while his mother is a software engineer.

On being asked about the secret to securing the top rank he says, ”Following a well-balanced routine marked by focused sessions of study and adequate breaks helped me perform well in the NEET UG exam. I did not leave my hobbies while preparing for NEET. I think that to do so would have been counterproductive,” the topper said.

Explaining his study schedule, Mrinal shared, “Initially I found the NCERT material and other resources from Aakash Institute quite in-depth and exhaustive. But I quickly got into the habit of studying intently for short durations of about 45 minutes and taking a rejuvenating break of 10-15 minutes after that. This proved to be productive, and I could score well in tests.” For the topper, breaks mostly meant playing video games or watching TV.

Another boy, from Jammu & Kashmir, scored the perfect 720/720. Tanmay Gupta says he is glad, he could make Jammu & Kashmir proud by bringing it on the forefront of nation. Tanmay currently stays in Delhi with his parents. He will now pursue MBBS from AIMS, Delhi. Tanmay said that he had been preparing for NEET from 11th Standard. The success mantra according to him, for clearing NEET is 5-6 hours of dedicated study, NCERT books, Mock Tests, and Akash study materials.

One among the three candidates to obtain the perfect score was Karthika G Nair from Mumbai. She received the best birthday gifts ever. As she turned 18, she celebrated the big day as a proud person after becoming a National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2021 Topper among the females.

She thanks her parents for the constant support and for motivating her every day. Her success mantra is to learn from the mistakes, not to miss the classes, even if the subject matter bring taught is repetitive. Along with that, giving tests helped her further in preparation.
