Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, Parshottam Rupala, along with several other dignitaries, initiated the 'Run for Unity' event at Krishi Bhawan to commemorate Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) and honor Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's 148th birth anniversary. The event aimed to pay tribute to the enduring values of unity, integrity, and patriotism espoused by the Iron Man of India.
The event witnessed the participation of esteemed guests, including Minister of States for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Balyan, and Dr. L. Murugan. The enthusiastic participants embarked on a symbolic run from Krishi Bhawan, making their way to Hyderabad House via Rajendra Prasad Road and Asoka Road.
Before commencing the run, all participants took the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge, affirming their commitment to safeguard the unity, integrity, and internal security of our beloved nation. This gesture emphasized the importance of upholding the ideals of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and his unwavering belief in the unification of India.
