India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast rain, snowfall, fog, and temperature shifts in different parts of the country. From the snowy hills of the Himalayas to the rainy coasts of Tamil Nadu, here's what you need to know about the weather in the days ahead.

Western Disturbances to Influence Northern India

Two active Western Disturbances and associated cyclonic circulations are set to impact northern India. Here's what to expect:

Temperature and Fog Updates

IMD has predicted a gradual rise in minimum temperatures across Central, East, and parts of West India in the coming days. Meanwhile, dense fog is expected to blanket regions like Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, and parts of Northeast India, potentially impacting visibility and daily activities.

Temperature Forecast:

  • Central India: Gradual rise in minimum temperatures by 2-4°C over the next four days.

  • East India & East Uttar Pradesh: No significant change for two days, followed by a rise of 2-3°C.

  • Maharashtra: Gradual rise by 2-3°C over three days, remaining steady thereafter.

  • Gujarat: Stable for two days, followed by a drop of 2-3°C.

Delhi NCR residents can expect a mix of clear skies, foggy mornings, smoggy evenings, and light rain in the coming days. The IMD predicts a cloudy sky with occasional thunderstorms, which might disrupt visibility but also provide some relief from the dry weather.
