  • The Regional Director Inaugurated CC Road and Dairy Units

    Dr. VK Mishra, Director of the ICAR Research Complex for the NEH Region in Umiam (Meghalaya), and his KVKs paid a visit to the ICAR's state center in Leparada district from April 22 to 25. During his visit, he inaugurated the CC road as well as the piggery and dairy units of the center and toured the Gori research farm and the Bam KVK instructional farm.

  • Ludhiana Witnesses 21 Stubble Burning Cases Within A Month

    According to a dataset supplied by the Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) on a number of registered fire incidents (Rabi season) in the state during 2020, 2021, and 2022, Ludhiana confirmed 21 stubble burning incidents between April 1 and April 24 based on satellite data (collected by the remote sensing department).

The price of petrol and diesel per liter in Mumbai is Rs 120.51 and Rs 104.77, respectively. In Chennai, a liter of petrol costs Rs 110.85, and a liter of diesel costs Rs 100.94. Petrol costs Rs 115.12 per liter in Kolkata, while diesel costs Rs 99.83 per liter.
