Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Organizes Farmers Fair in Ara, Bihar
From April 25 to 30, as part of the ongoing 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav,' a farmers' market was held on the premises of Krishi Vigyan Kendra in the district of Ara, Bihar as part of the Kisan Bhagidari-Prathmikta Hamari campaign organized by the ministry for agriculture and farmers' welfare.

54 Incidents of Farm Fire Reported In Haryana
On the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday, fire officials in Karnal and Kaithal districts of Haryana remained on high alert, as 54 incidences of field fires were registered in the two districts due to a windy storm. According to reports, the fire was spread by the heavy storm.

Mobile Feed Mill (CIFE Model) Technology Launched
Jatindra Nath Swain, I.A.S., Secretary (Fisheries), Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying inaugurated the Mobile Feed Mill (CIFE Model) developed by the FNBP Division, ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Education in Mumbai on 24 April 2022.
Swain stressed on the capacity of Mobile Feed Mill and the use of different feed ingredients for the Fish Feed preparation.

Farmers Enlightened About the Sustainable Farming Practices At Krishi Mela in Amritsar
On Tuesday, the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (GADVASU), Booh, Tarn Taran, in partnership with the Department of Agriculture and ATMA, held a Kisan Mela on its campus as part of the Kisan Bhagidari Prathmikta Hamari campaign under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Dr. Balwinder Kumar, KVK Associate Director (Training), provided technical information on several areas of natural farming, farm mechanization, and sound agriculture practices for long-term farming sustainability.

Farm Equipment Worth Rs 65.91 Lakh Disbursed to Farmers' Producer's Companies (FPCs)
On Tuesday, the Departments of Agriculture and Horticulture jointly disbursed agricultural implements worth Rs 65.91 lakh to farmers' producers' companies (FPCs) in the district under the cooperative farming scheme. The distribution included a government contribution of 55 lakh and a contribution of 10.91 lakh from FPCs. Tractors, shredders, power tillers, and weeders were among the forty-five farm items supplied.

Food Safety Department Conducted Surprise Inspection in Guwahati
On Tuesday, the Food Safety Department conducted a sudden inspection at the fancy bazaar in Guwahati. The inspection of both retail and wholesale fruits and vegetables was performed. The Food safety officials conducted the inspection early at 5 a.m.

Fuel Price Update: Check Fuel Prices in Major Cities As of 27 April
On April 27, a liter of fuel cost 105.41 rupees in Delhi, while diesel cost 96.67 rupees. Meanwhile, in Kolkata, petrol costs 115.12 rupees per liter, and diesel cost 99.83 rupees per liter. Petrol is being sold for 120.51 per liter and diesel for 104.77 per liter in Mumbai, India's financial capital.
