  • MPs in Odisha Meet Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, Ask for Immediate Supply of Fertilizers

    Biju Janata Dal MP delegation today met with Union Chemicals & Fertilizers Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and demanded immediate supply of fertilizers for farmers in Odisha. They handed over a memorandum asking for an immediate supply of fertilizers for Odisha farmers. The delegation underlined that there was a short supply of fertilizers in the state in the Kharif harvest season.

     

  • IMD Predicts Heavy Falls & issues alert in some states from 31 July

    The India Meteorological Department predicted extremely heavy rainfall in some states from 31st July Saturday. IMD said fairly widespread rainfall with isolated heavy falls are likely over the East Madhya Pradesh during 31st July to 2nd August & over Chhattisgarh & East Uttar Pradesh on 31st July.   • Chandigarh-Manali Highway is closed due to Landslide

    The Chandigarh-Manali Highway has been blocked due to the landslide near Pandoh – the rea of Mandi district on 31st July, Saturday. According to district police, the restoration work is underway. Shalini Agnihotri, the Superintendent of Police, Mandi, said that the highway is closed since 30th July (Friday) & traffic is being diverted through an alternate route via Kataula.

    From 1st August 2021, the bank customers will no longer have to wait for the working day for their salary or pension to credit or to do the important transactions like EMI Payments. This is because the Reserve Bank of India has changed the rules of National Automated Clearing House (NACH).

  • The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir launches ‘Green J&K Drive’

    Jammu & Kashmir aims to plant 1.30 crore saplings in the year 2021, Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha launched the “Green Jammu & Kashmir Drive – 2021” from Indian Institute of Technology Jammu on 30th July Friday. The Lieutenant Governor himself planted a ‘Cupressus’ sapling in the Indian Institute of Technology Campus to mark the launch of this Huge Plantation Drive.
