  • Today's Petrol and Diesel Prices: Petrol Price in Delhi Under Rs 100; Check Fuel Prices in Your City

    On Tuesday, petrol rates in Delhi were Rs 96.72 per liter, while diesel customers had to pay Rs 89.62 per liter. Petrol users in Mumbai will pay Rs 111.35 a liter, while diesel customers will pay Rs 97.28 in the country's financial capital. In Kolkata, a liter of petrol costs Rs 106.03, while a gallon of diesel costs Rs 92.76 per liter. Petrol customers in Chennai will pay Rs 102.63 per liter, while diesel consumers in Tamil Nadu's capital city will pay Rs 94.24 per liter.

  • Farmers in Andhra Pradesh are Dissatisfied with the Government's Lack of Assistance

    Dryland farmers in the drought-stricken Prakasam district, who are already suffering from the delayed arrival of the monsoon, complain about little government assistance and incorrect crop insurance distribution.   • Telangana Continues to Provide Financial Assistance to Farmers

    Telangana's government began distributing cash aid to farmers with more than five acres of land under Rythu Bandhu on Tuesday. Authorities have begun transferring funds from the investment assistance plan into the bank accounts of farmers with more than five acres of land. So far, the state government has distributed Rs 3,946 crore to 51.99 lakh farmers with up to four acres of land.

  • Government to Reduce the Excise Tax on Ethanol-Blend Gasoline by 12% and 15%

    A tax break will also be offered for high-speed diesel combined with 20% biodiesel. Only 88 percent and 85 percent of fuel will be subject to excise charge. A 5% GST will be charged on ethanol with a content of 12 and 15%. The ultimate product's tax treatment will be zero. With updated alerts, The Finance Ministry has added E12 and E15 mixed gasoline to the E10 category. It might help the government meet its 20 percent ethanol blending target by 2025.

  • Farmers in Assam Receive Cattle Feed Worth Rs 1.5 crore

    The National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) has gone to the aid of dairy producers in Assam who have been affected by the present flood scenario. It should be emphasized that, in the aftermath of Assam's tragic flood tragedy, which resulted in the loss of life, property, and livelihood, dairy farmers are left with a scarcity of feed and fodder, harming their cattle. As a result, the NDDB has extended its assistance by donating 500 metric tonnes of cow feed valued at Rs 1.5 crore for distribution to dairy farmers in flood-affected districts of the state.

    Central Insecticide Board has given its approval to seed and agri-solution major Syngenta India to use drones to spray its fungicide Amistar Top on the paddy crop. This fungicide is used to protect the crop against infections such as Blast & Sheath Blight. Sunil Kurchania, head, crop protection development Syngenta India, said. We are also evaluating the use of our solutions through drones in different crops like cotton, soybean, groundnut, hot pepper, red gram, corn, rice in Maharashtra.
  • IFFCO Kisan signed an MOU with NABARD

    IFFCO Kisan signed An MOU with NABARD - National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development under which IFFCO Kisan will provide end-to-end ICT-based agro advisory services to the 22,500 farmers of Kerala and 5,000 farmers of Jharkhand state for 1 year. IFFCO Kisan will also ensure accessibility to the IFFCO Kisan app for up to 5 days for personalized agriculture solutions through voice calls and the Market Place platform for buying and selling the produce.
