  • Cotton Prices Stay Above Minimum Support Level

    Strong rebound in the post Covid-19 demand & bullish the sentiment due to the tight supplies are expected to keep the Indian cotton prices way above government set to minimum support price levels in 2021-2022 cotton year, along with cutting India’s cotton exports, the high cotton prices will reduce central government’s procurement budget for the cotton to miniscule amount from Rs 55,000 crore spent collectively on the cotton procurement during previous cotton seasons.

  • Vice-President Visits ICAR-NRC

    Vice-President, M. Venkaiah Naidu visited the ICAR-National Research Centre on Mithun, Nagaland on 7 October. Talking about the richness of the North-East in bio-resources, he stressed on conducting future research for the betterment as well as prosperity of the tribal population in the region.
