85th ExpoZebu, World’s Largest Cattle Fair Starts in Brazil

The 85th edition of ExpoZebu has started on Saturday, 27th April 2019 at the Fernando Costa Park in Brazil. The Expo is commemorating the 80th anniversary of the genealogical record of the zebu breeds and on the valuation of Zebu's milk. The Governor of Minas Gerais, Romeu Zema also visited the Fernando Costa Park to take part in ExpoZebu 2019 on Sunday.

The 85th edition of ExpoZebu has started on Saturday, 27th April 2019 at the Fernando Costa Park in Brazil. The Expo is celebrating the 100th anniversary of ABCZ - the Brazilian Association of Zebu Breeders, who are responsible for the event. ExpoZebu is considered to be one of the largest cattle fair in the world. Animal lovers, cattle breeders, dairy owners and farmers from all across the globe attend this expo.

The ExpoZebu will continue till Sunday, 5th May 2019, with an expected audience of 280,000 at Fernando Costa Park, which is 20 percent above 2018. For the first time people will see Girolando animals in the contests.

This year, ABCZ is commemorating the company's 100 years of existence. The ABCZ works in Brazil with the Zebu Brahman, Nellore, Sindi, Guzerá, Gyr, Tabapuã, Indubrasil and Canadian breeds.    Countries taking part in the event are India, Costa Rica, Turkey, Thailand, Panama, Colombia, Bolivia and United States etc.

Krishi Jagran Editor-in-chief, Mr. MC Dominic and Senior VP Special Initiatives, Mr. Chandra Mohan, are in Brazil to cover the entire event.  Mr. Dominic met with the Director and Vice President of ABCZ before the event. He also presented our magazine ‘Agriculture World’ to them.
