M.C. Dominic, founder, and Editor-in-Chief of Krishi Jagran, who is also the eminent media partner for Agrovon 2K21, also addressed the event on its first day. Dominic drew participant’s attention to the fact that agriculture lacks representation in the media. Even entertainment and sports have media dedicated to them, he said, but agriculture, which is the major occupation of the country, does not.

Concluding his address, he urged students to join agri-media because if solely Krishi Jagran can have lakhs of readers by dedicating itself to farmers, the power agri-media can bring about, is beyond imagination.
