Big Alert! These Farmers will Not Get Benefit of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was launched by the Central Government for the farmers in the country. Under this scheme, it provides Rs. 6000 to farmers in three equal installments of Rs. 2000 each. After every four months, the government transfers Rs. 2000 directly in the bank accounts of farmers. Till now seven installments of PM-Kisan have been given to the farmers.

PM Kisan scheme is a very beneficial for the farmers but not all the farmers of the country are eligible for this government scheme.

Farmers will not get Benefit under these conditions

  • If a farmer does farming, but the field is not in his name or in the name of his father or grandfather, then he will not get the benefit of PM-Kisan yojana. To get Rs. 6000 per year, the land should be in the name of the farmer.

  • If a farmer cultivates on leased land then also, he will not get the benefit of the scheme. Ownership of land is necessary for PM Kisan.

  • If a farmer or someone in the family is in a constitutional post then he will not get the benefit.

  • All institutional land holders will come under this scheme.

  • All serving/retired officers/employees of Central or State Government Ministries Departments and its field units Central or State PSEs & Attached offices or Autonomous Institutions under Government as well as regular employees of the Local Bodies, Professionals will also not get the benefit of this scheme, even if they do farming.

  • Retired pensioners with monthly pension of more than Rs 10,000 will not get the benefit.

  • Professionals who paid income tax in the last assessment year are also excluded from the purview of the scheme.

  • Those who deliberately give false information

What to do if you have not received PM-Kisan money

If the farmers who have applied for PM-KISAN scheme did not get the last installment then they should not worry as the government has provided many helpline numbers where you can call and tell the problem.

  • Apart from this, you can also contact this number (011-23381092) of Agriculture Ministry.

  • You can also contact the District Agriculture Officer or Accountant.
