Experiments for better yield of crop

Experts of Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology have started using nanoparticle technology on crops, due to which the report will be given to ICAR after analyzing the changes and quality in the crops. Disease attacks on crops can be identified.

Farmers put their lives into the production of crops, but the production always remains less than expected. The main reason for this is the pests in the crops, due to which the plant becomes diseased and destroyed after seed germination.

About Nanoparticle Technology:

In view of this problem, the experts of CSA have developed nanoparticle technology after elaborated research. With this technique, not only will the plants be kept fit by enhancing their disease resistance, but farmers will also be able to get a higher yield of the crop. For this, CSA experts have already started work.

Now preparations are being made to increase disease resistance in plants with nanoparticle technology. Experts have initiated using this technology on tomato, maize, paddy crops, while potato, wheat, and other crops will be tested very soon.

It will study the changes, impact, and quality of crops. The experts will submit a report to the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) in two years after preparing a full assessment report. Regarding this, the cooperation of a private company is being taken, on whose behalf the nanoparticles have been provided.

To increase the quality of crops, sodium, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, and other nutritious elements are sprayed in the soil. Many types of micronutrients (micronutrients) come very expensively, which are expensive to use. These nutrients increase the quality of the soil as well as improve its ability to fight diseases.

CSA Joint Director Research Dr. SC Biswas told that nanoparticles are sprayed through a spray. It is one-third cheaper than other elements. Spraying is done for the first time in 30 to 35 days and for the second time in 40 to 45 days. Right now this technology is new. It is being assessed.
