Recently, the Government of Uttar Pradesh has also come up with a scheme to increase the income of the farmers of the state.
It is a Free Boring Scheme. Under this scheme, free boring facility is being provided to the farmers in the fields. So let us tell you what is the Uttar Pradesh Government Free Boring Scheme and how farmers can take advantage of this scheme?
What is Free Boring Scheme?
In Uttar Pradesh, the Free Boring Scheme is implemented by the Irrigation Department. The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development has fixed the loan limit for purchasing pump sets of various horsepower under this scheme.
The subsidy is provided to the farmers in the purchase of pumps. By taking advantage of this scheme, farmers can get irrigation facilities in their fields. With this, more and more vegetables and crops can be prepared.
Subsidy:

For small farmers, the maximum subsidy on boring has been fixed at Rs 5,000.

At the same time, the maximum limit of subsidy on boring for marginal farmers is fixed at Rs 7,000.

Similarly, small farmers are given a maximum subsidy of Rs 4500 for installing boring by purchasing pump sets.

A maximum subsidy of 6,000 will be given on pump sets purchased and installed on boring by marginal farmers.
For small and marginal farmers belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, a subsidy up to a maximum of Rs 10,000 has been fixed on boring.
For information, let us tell you that the balance amount from boring in this scheme is subject to the limit of Rs 10,000. At the same time, additional facility of providing material like a reflex valve, delivery pipe, bend etc. is also available. Apart from this, a subsidy of up to a maximum of Rs 9,000 will be given for installing pump sets on boring.

Click on to download the Uttar Pradesh Free Boring Scheme application form.

After downloading this form online, a printout has to be taken out.

Fill in all the information sought in this form and submit it to the Block Development Officer-Assistant Engineer, Minor Irrigation Department office of your district.

Not only this, subsidy is also being given by the Uttar Pradesh government on the purchase of pipes. Farmers will be given 50 percent subsidy on the cost of 90 mm size HDPE pipe from minimum 30 meters to maximum 60 meters.

For information, let us tell you that 50 percent of the cost of HDPE pipe or maximum Rs 3000 will be given as subsidy. In this way, this scheme of Uttar Pradesh can prove to be very beneficial for the farmers.
