“As on 30.06.2020, 70.32 lakh Kisan Credit Cards have been sanctioned with a -credit limit of Rs 62,870 crore out of Rs 2 lakh crore concessional credit under the #Aatmanirbhar package. This will benefit 2.5 crore farmers, including fishermen & dairy farmers,” Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said in a tweet.

These banks have provided Kisan Credit Card to millions of farmers. Through these banks, farmers can make cards easily within a short span of time. The validity of this card is 5 years which can be renewed later. Along with this, Kisan Credit Cardholders can easily avail the benefit of PM KisanSamman Nidhi Yojana.

With its help, the farmer can take a loan related to agriculture that too is available at a very cheap rate. Farmers can take loan up to 3 lakh rupees without guarantee. Apart from this, farmers can also make KCC from other banks as well. He can directly apply it by going to any co-operative bank, Regional Rural Bank, State Bank of India, Bank of India and IDBI Bank, National Payments Corporation of India Bank.
