Here’s an important update for farmers registered under PM Kisan Yojana! As per latest reports, the government will transfer the 12th installment of Rs. 2000 in Aadhaar-seeded bank accounts of the beneficiaries.
Dr. Arun Kumar Mehta, Chief Secretary, Jammu & Kashmir during a meeting that was held to check the progress under various welfare schemes said that all beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be verified through Aadhar seeding & revenue record authentication before releasing the 12th installment of Rs. 2000.
The Chief Secretary asked the Deputy Commissioners of all districts to certify uploading of the relevant revenue record, Aadhar-seeding of all beneficiary accounts, and completion of PM Kisan e-KYC formalities by 5 September 2022. He also asked them to pay special focus on the removal of ineligible beneficiaries & recovery of false claims.
In addition, the JK Bank was told to raise public awareness among its people via text messages, especially regarding the 12th installment of PM Kisan Yojana, which will be credited directly into the Aadhar-seeded bank accounts of farmers through DTB.
The Divisional Commissioners of both divisions were asked to involve public representatives as well as concerned line departments in accelerating the collection of requisite scheme-related data.
In order to raise awareness on the compulsory Aadhar-seeding & authentication of beneficiaries under several government schemes, the Chief Secretary asked the Information Department to run advertisement campaigns in all vernacular newspapers.
Deadline for PM Kisan eKYC ends today
It is also important to mention that the deadline for completing PM Kisan eKYC ends today, 31st August 2022. Hence farmers who have not completed the eKYC details should do it immediately or they will not get the next installment of Rs. 2000.
How to complete PM Kisan eKYC?
Go to the official website of PM Kisan
Click on ‘eKYC’ option on the homepage
Enter your Aadhaar number, captcha code & click on ‘search’
Then enter your registered mobile number linked with Aadhaar card
Now click on ‘Get OTP’ and you will get the OTP on your mobile number
Finally enter the OTP in specified field & press Enter.
