Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has started two years back and many farmers are availing the benefit of this scheme. Farmers get the annual help of 6000 rupees under this scheme. And now, many major changes have been made to this scheme. Through this scheme, farmers can get Kisan Credit Card comparatively easier than before.

Note that, under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat idea, more than 1.5 Kisan Credit cards have been issued to the farmers. Through this, farmers can take loans up to 3 lakh rupees for agriculture purposes. And not only this, the Modi government has decided to issue the Kisan Credit to all the farmers who are registered under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.

Let us proceed and talk about other important changes made.

Register Yourself

Now you don’t need to go to the authorities, in fact, you can go to the portal and get registered by yourself under this scheme. The main objective of this is to connect all the farmers with this scheme and provide timely benefits to the registered people.

Know Your Status

If you have registered for this scheme and not received the money on time, then you can check your status through the portal. You can get the information by entering your Aadhar number, mobile number, and bank account number.

This scheme was started in December 2018 for small and marginal farmers. But before the Lok Sabha election 2019, the BJP government promised in its resolution letter that all 14.5 crore farmers will get the benefit if the Modi government comes to power again. Madhya Pradesh government has proceeded with this step by giving 4-4 thousand rupees to every farmer.
