While addressing the conference of coconut farmers on 1st September, Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Narendra Singh Tomar said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has improved India's credibility by making the entire world aware of its power. He also mentioned how PM Modi never forgets the villager-farmer in need.

Tomar said, “If we empower the poor, it will lead to the country’s development and grow its strength, if the villages develop, the country will develop and if farmers’ households prosper, Mother India will be prosperous. The PM is working diligently to achieve this dream.”

Tomar said this in Junagadh, Gujarat at a conference set up for coconut farmers. According to Tomar, Gujarat has exceptionally fertile soil and is the birthplace of the Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, and the former Prime Minister Morarji Desai. The nation and Gujarat's reputation has improved thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is also a native of the state. All this has been possible only because of Narendra Modi's sacrifice, penance, and work of affection. Before becoming the Prime Minister, Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujarat, and his leadership journey continued to astound everyone.

When Gujarat was hit by an earthquake, Modi was the chief minister, the state was able to respond to the disaster quickly and efficiently because of his leadership, hard work, and vision. As a result, Modi's efficiency was recognized not only by the nation but also by the rest of the world.

In Gujarat, there is now enough water available for drinking and irrigation, according to Tomar, who said that Modi expanded prosperity by delivering Narmada water to additional areas of the state. Previously known for its drought, Gujarat is now known for its lush greenery. The Gujarat model created by Shri Modi's methodology has been discussed throughout the country and the world in regard to every area of the state's growth, including its industrialization, employment prospects, tourism, and good governance.

According to Tomar, the Prime Minister has also requested more coconut plantations to be planted in the nation in order to expand the number of processing facilities there and the export of goods. Similar to the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, which provides ordinary farmers with security coverage, coconut growers may also join in an insurance scheme, with the Center, the State, and the farmers each contributing 50, 25, and 25% of the premium, respectively.

An investment of Rs. 11,000 crores was made to launch the Mission on Oil Palm to increase the production of edible oils. The Prime Minister's diverse thinking led to all of this. Modi undertakes an ongoing effort to support agriculture through the State Governments, modernize it, and provide farmers and poor people more power. Shri Tomar also acknowledged the Gujarati government's achievements.

Other dignitaries present at the conference were Gujarat's Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and Cow Breeding Minister Raghavjibhai Patel, Junagadh MP Rajeshbhai Naranbhai Chudasama, Central Horticulture Commissioner Dr. Prabhat Kumar, and more.
