Easy Ways to Make Compost at Home

There are many ways to make compost. We are going to update the easiest ways to make compost at home. For composting, you might need tools like a big spoon or square shape shovel, pitchforks, and a water hose with a spray head. The regular blending of the compost and water will help to maintain the compost.


Small Area at Home Garden

  • Choose the dry and shaded area of your garden where water resource is available to the compost pile or bin.

  • Put brown and green ingredients as they are available, and make sure you chop the big pieces into smaller ones.

  • Put some water if you find a dry substance to keep the moisture.

  • Once your compost bin gets made, mix grass clippings into the container and conceal fruits and vegetable waste under 10 inches of compost substance.

  • When the material at the bottom looks dark and rich in color, you can use compost as fertilizer.

  • This process generally takes 2 months to 2 years.

Inside Composting

If you don’t have space outside for compost development, then don’t take stress as you can make the compost in a simple bin inside your home. You need to watch the waste that you are putting in the compost bin. Adequately managed compost will not smell and flies will also not get attracted to it.
