Classroom sessions and field visit for IPM toolkit demonstrations’
The 2nd day of the RCIPMC 5 Day IPM Orientation Training program for the Agricultural & Horticultural Extension Officials of the State of Haryana was marked with classroom visual audio lectures at HTI, Karnal and field visits for practical demonstrations and first hand experience in IPM.
While classroom sessions were held with respect major pests of wheat, mustard, chickpea and rabi vegetables.
The field demonstrations were focused on setting up pheromone traps in the field
And identification of pests and their natural enemies.
Something to look forward in knowledge sharing and expertise between various officials of the State of Haryana and the RCIPMC, Faridabad.
