When we say Tractor Manufactures, which companies come to your mind? MahindraSonalikaEscorts; but have you ever thought of a Lamborghini Tractor?

This restored Lamborghini 5C TL tractor (in the picture) is possibly the slowest vehicle ever to bear the Lamborghini label, but it's also the cheapest Lamborghini, you can buy from the 1960s.

Ferruccio Lamborghini, the founder of Lamborghini, began his career producing tractors, which is possibly one of the most well-known bits of vintage automobile trivia in the world. It's less well known that there are entire communities of fans dedicated to restoring and preserving antique tractors for future generations all across the world.

Lamborghini began making tractors in 1948, utilizing modified six-cylinder petrol engines from Morris trucks that he converted to diesel using a proprietary atomizer.

The company joined the SAME Group in 1973 and is still in operation today, with a series of cutting-edge Lamborghini tractors on the market.

The Lamborghini 5C TL Tractor: Best Features

  • The Lamborghini 5C TL Tractor is powered by a 40 horsepower air-cooled 2.2 litrediesel engine. A four-speed dual-range manual transmission sends power to the tracks, and the total vehicle weight is just over 2,000 kilos (4,400+ lbs).

  • The 5C TL was Lamborghini's most powerful tractor at the time of its launch, despite having just 40 horsepower. Of fact, the goal was not speed, but rather dependability and the capacity to travel practically any terrain, although slowly.

  • The 5C TL has two PTOs (power take offs) for operating farm machinery and a hydraulically-actuated three-point hitch system. A three-cylinder, air-cooled 2.2 litrediesel engine provides power, which is sent to the tracks through a four-speed dual-range manual transmission.

  • With a weight of nearly 2,000 kilogrammes(4,400+ pounds), the 5C TL is more of a clydesdale than a race horse, but their simple diesel engines and heavy-duty engineering ensured that many of them lasted decades in service.
