It will also enable collaboration in R&D for businesses of all sizes.

Cargill said it will collaborate with its food and beverage clients in India to understand consumer preferences, translate global market trends into services or applications, and speed customer product innovation pipelines.

Cargill's expertise in several business categories, such as edible oils and specialty fats; sweeteners, starches, and texturizers; cocoa and chocolate; and tailored blended ingredients, are brought together under one roof to provide the F&B industry with a full product innovation solution.

Cargill stated that the center will assist consumers in reformulating products that are reduced in fat, salt, and sugar while preserving flavor and texture to support a balanced and nutritious diet.

Cargill began operations in India in 1987. It operates in the following industries: refined oils, grain food ingredients, and oilseeds, cotton, animal nutritionbio-industrial, and trade structured financing.

Cargill India distributes key consumer products of edible oils such as Nature Fresh, Gemini, Sweekar, Leonardo Olive Oil, Rath, and Sunflower brand of hydrogenated fats via more than ten production units throughout companies. It offers wheat flour under the trademark 'Nature Fresh.'
