Partnering with the NGO Buddy 4 Study, Project Unnati was launched by Chun Woytera, President Asia Pacific, CNH Industrial, during her recent visit to India.

Project Udaan was launched in March 2022, and preliminary preparatory work is underway to enable the onboarding of students in July and August when the new Engineering session begins. In collaboration with the NGO Katalyst, the project aims to empower socio-economically disadvantaged women by providing scholarship support for four years of engineering college. The program includes a 600-hour proprietary and scientifically researched curriculum focused on developing soft skills, communication, English proficiency, career readiness, corporate etiquette, technical skills, and advanced technology.

Continuing CNH Industrial’s commitment to assist students in gaining essential education, we are expanding our educational CSR projects in India this year, to help students who have suffered due to the global pandemic. With Project Unnati, we will provide financial and professional support to students through scholarships and the employee mentorship program,” said Chun Woytera, President Asia Pacific, CNH Industrial.

“We are also focused on educating and empowering women to take up leadership roles. Project Udaan, with its well-rounded curriculum and financial assistance, will help them grow professionally into leaders,” she added.

These two projects are the latest in a range of initiatives the Company has supported, demonstrating CNH Industrial’s commitment to education in India and to supporting the local community. “Mission Education” is an additional project, started in 2016.

To date, some 260 students have been supported with free education along with books and infrastructure support. Furthermore, CNH Industrial has also recently committed to hiring women trainees from Banasthali Institute, an all-women university in Rajasthan.
